2 MB of main memory (RAM), and starts in the blink of an eye (even faster than
the system editor). The memory and computing power that Papyrus does not use
remain available for your documents, and are not wasted by the program.

Both the Papyrus program and our logically structured online help system are
written in ordinary English that anybody can understand, and provide explanations
for the technical terms that do occur.

Anyone who needs to maintain myriad addresses knows how difficult maintenance can be,
and how important it is to be able to find exactly the correct entry out of thousands.
With the intuitive full-text-search function in Papyrus, you just use the
database search-field to type whatever you remember that matches any field in the
record you are looking for.
With each typed character Papyrus refines the search result, so that you
can find the record you are looking for incredibly quickly.
In addition, you can activate the "phonetic" option, so that variant spellings
("Schulz" => "Schultz"), accents ("á" => "a"), or (German) umlauts ("ä" => "ae")
do not get in the way.

... or destroyed files - Papyrus is stable. Uninterrupted operation is the standard that
we strive for and nearly always achieve. Even so: when a problem does occur,
our software catches the error (gently!), and allows you to save your data.

Papyrus can
safely maintain thousands of pages in a single document, correctly
handle as many footnotes as necessary on any page, as well as pictures, tables, etc.
This is primarily a result of our efficient and concise program coding.
