Support
Papyrus doesn't require a lot of support, because "it just works": the intuitive
features in Papyrus are easy to use. However, if you do run into a problem,
our support technicians are ready, and will take the time to solve the problem.
One of the reasons users like Papyrus so much is that we don't leave you standing out in the cold.
Internet
We are always available over the Internet, and provide quick responses
to questions, suggestions, and all sorts of constructive criticism.
This is the most popular form of technical support, because it provides
the quickest (and most economical) way of directly interacting with our users.
Just send an e-mail to support@rom-logicware.com.
Note: Please give your name and Papyrus serial number,
the exact version number
(and date) of your Papyrus, your operating system (and version number),
and (if necessary) relevant details about your system configuration (particularily printer
model and driver for printing problems, or video card and driver for display issues),
as well as an exact, reproducible description of the problem, with example
documents if necessary (as e-mail attachments).
Our Internet server (www.rom-logicware.com) also provides all Papyrus OFFICE Demo-Versions,
and registered customers receive free updates within the current version,
sent directly via internet. In addition, our inexpensive upgrades
(from older versions to the current version level) are also available via e-mail.
Telephone Support
Our telephone support hotline is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3pm to 6pm (Central European Time).
By calling +49 - 30 - 49 99 73 73 you can speak
to one of our competent staff members (often one of the developers). (For our customers
in North America: telephone support is 9am - 12noon US-Eastern time, and the
"+" means the "international access code", which
is "011" for USA and Canada, or "00" for Europe.)
Papyrus Club
If you need extended support, contact us about registering for Papyrus Club service.
This gives you access to our extended support line, which is always open Monday-Friday
10am to 6pm (CET), and usually later as well (however long the programmers are still
available). Papyrus Club members receive special updates and "above and beyond"
support (for example, return calls with emergency solutions). Club members in North America
please note: do not call later than 3pm Eastern Time, or 12noon Pacific Time
(that would be 9pm here in Germany).
